Alcatraz the most famous jail

In my last day in SF I can not leave this amazing city without doing the most important tourist visit, ALCATRAZ ISLAND. The truth is I´ve had very good luck with weather so far this trip and the Alcatraz day could not be otherwise, after waiting for an half past hour the visit began

If you are going to visit this national park keep in mind that you will need comfortable shoes because you must walk quite. Also it´s important Try to get first to the autoguide area because if not you will find an huge queue of people waiting for theirs guides...  More than worth it taking audioguide for two reasons first it is in Spanish and it is narrated by people who were there. 

Guide visit takes around 50 minutes and explains more important things that happened there, besides you can see how to accomplished three prisoners the only escape that is known was succeed.

Then once the audioguide finished you can walk around the island, take photos of SF bay and you will see some locations of films like "La Roca"    

In summary Alcatraz island visit is very interesting and doesn´t take more than 3 hours. Thoroughly recommended!
